(excerpt) “My idea for this project originated in 2019 when my local community experienced an internet outage in my area that was the result of a terrorist cyber-attack. I watched as everything shut down, 911 could not be reached, people could not contact loved ones, school phones and internet lines were shut down and for a brief moment- it felt terrifying- chaotic- jarring and absolutely surreal.”
